about COnnective Strength

Connective Strength Goals

At Connective Strength, our primary goal is to empower and support local patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) through a comprehensive approach. We are committed to organizing twenty-four to thirty-six group meetings annually, fostering a solid support network. Additionally, we focus on creating and distributing informative, educational handouts to enhance understanding and management of EDS. Our initiatives include offering in-person education classes for healthcare providers, covering various topics pertinent to EDS care. Furthering our outreach, we host awareness events open to patients, healthcare providers, and the general public, promoting broader understanding and community engagement. Another critical aspect of our mission is establishing robust partnerships with local healthcare providers through which we distribute Connective Strength business cards, ensuring essential information is readily accessible to those who need it most.
